About:
It couldn’t have been worse. Among other things, his best friend just died, the love of his life was gone, and he himself was left injured and bedridden in the abusive home he ran from at 16. Most people would give up here, but not Belle Vex.
Several years ago, the would be pop singer/songwriter gambled with death and won. Donning his now celebrated moniker, Vex used his trauma has the focal point for his first record. With each subsequent record, more people would come to praise the cool, rebellious pop style he exhibits. His 2015 release Rated-R went on to take the #2 spot on National Independent Radio while, at the same time, posted at #101 on the National Top 200. Today, Vex sits atop a modest collection of successful independent releases that have been widely accepted by fans, radio, music bloggers online and television stations, but you wouldn’t be able to tell.
In 2018, Vex parted ways with his former representative firm, stripped all of his music from streaming platforms and set his videos to hidden allowing only the predated blog posts to showcase his art. Not long after, he put out Something New and the successive song Cool, which went on to play across the country and land more than 200k streams collectively. Now he's back with 'Moments'. Written almost two years ago and packed with the same fervor for tragedy, the latest release flies under the radar hoping to pay homage to basics and growing interest in the same way as his first.
